Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dry formula - bring back skin foundation! Very disappointed in this product - it is incredibly patchy and cakey in comparison to the discontinued skin foundation. Please stop creating these awful matte foundations - they are dated and unflattering on the majority of skin types. Please bring back the skin foundation which glided and stayed so beautifully on our skin!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They discontinued the SPF15 skin foundation I was only given an option to buy this or one with serum in it (which did not cover well and was closer to a tinted moisturiser). I asked the assistant for a sample and was told they don't do samples. I then asked about refunds if I didn't like it and was told no problem. However, it does not blend well and does not sit well. It doesn't cover my blemishes, looks muddy (not sure how else to describe), and turns a bit orange (I only use Bobbi brown primer before application). So I tried to return it but was told I had to either return online or in an official store or return everything I bought including the gifts. This is just not what I expect after using Bobbi brown for so many years. I don't know why they discontinued a great product and I can't believe the awful policies and service (the assistant could have been clearer on the refund policy since I asked before I bought). I am now using YSL Le teint touche eclat. It makes my skin look more youthful and covers all blemishes and pigmentation. I'm really disappointed in Bobbi brown.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why has the lightweight skin foundation been discontinued? This long wear, full cover stuff is horrible and claggy. It doesn't sit at all nicely on the skin. The previous lightweight skin foundation SPF 15 is so much better. Why did BB stop producing this - you can only get a mini version now. Not happy :-(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back the original skin foundation I used BB skin foundation for 15 years! It was the most amazing, natural looking foundation I have ever used so I was devastated when they discontinued it! I tired this one which is very heavy so isn't a good substitute if you want a natural look. Also tried the serum one, again it was heavier and didn't stay on for long and showed up pores despite being more expensive! BB has been my go to brand for many years but now I've had to move on to other brands to find a replacement. I've tried Dior (ok alternative, still not as good as the original skin foundation), Charlotte Tilbury (again not as good), the only one that is coming close to this is a Nars one. I'd love to know why you have discontinued this and if there are any plans to replace it as it was amazing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good - bring back skin foundation !! I bought this after finding my usual skin foundation is no longer available. This foundation goes on tacky, highlights pores and doesn't last. Worst thing was I've gone from having clear glowy skin to bad break out on my chin. I stopped using foundation and it cleared up and then came back. Previously I always got compliments on my skin with the skin foundation, it wasn't detectable. I don't have particularly sensitive skin and foundation hasn't caused break outs before. This is just rubbish and so sad about the skin foundation! The shade match of ivory was ok so that's one plus!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible, cakey, drying Bought as a replacement for the original skin foundation which BB have foolishly discontinued. I'd been using that for 15 years plus- best on the market. This longwear version is grim. Definitely not weightless, I feel like I'm wearing a mask. Settles in fine lines and pores, I look 10 years older. It's a mess! Bring back the beautiful 'like skin, but better' skin foundation. The serum foundation is reactive on me - why add lavender? Does nothing but break people out! Will have to look for an alternative brand. Sad, BB used to be brilliant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ghostly matte and drying I tried this in place of the discontinued skin foundation. It was awful. It dried my skin and was really matte. 2 weeks later my skin is still suffering as a result. I have used Bobbi Brown for years and am so disappointed they keep discontinuing good products. The new skin tint is like water, the stick too cakey on my skin, and the serum foundation makes my skin react. Nothing works anymore and the skin foundation was the first and only foundation to go on easily, smoothly, and give my skin a healthy glow! Such a shame. And don't get me started on the discontinuation of the powder shadows!
