Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gives a youthful and fresh look Just to say that I've always used Clinique foundations - at times I've gone elsewhere and always been disappointed. I've used the original "even better" foundation for years and recently gave this a try. The Boots Clinique lady was glowing and I asked what she used and she said this. I decided to try it for myself. I've had so many compliments since - it's quite full coverage so less is more but I can also use a little extra for under eyes and around nose instead of the added step of concealer which is always tricky to apply for a natural look. The finish is creamy and fresh and natural. Love it! I'm 54 and used the same shade I use in the original. Perfect. I do not use a primer but do use an extremely light touch of translucent powder to set. It doesn't transfer. My skin is combination but obviously a bit fragile due to post menopause. I honestly hope there are no plans to retire this product EVER!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Youthful, glowing! So, I bought this on the recommendation of the online chat function, the first shade was too dark for me, however, it was a good product. Fast forward to the correct shade recommended by Nicola on the chat function, along with the correct 3 step cleansing / moisture set up - day one and I've had compliments on my skin and it doesn't look like I have any foundation on, it's perfectly blended - covering even acne rosacea! I'm 44 and honestly it really does look amazing, doesn't crease on smiling, doesn't collect in fine lines. 5* from me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not wear evenly This foundation sounded great, i have very dry skin, extremely fair and prone to redness on the cheeks, so a full cover foundation was in order and this one offered a variety of shades to suit all. The shad CN02 Breeze was a perfect match for me, and when used under moisture surge and then the redness primer it seemed to go on okay. Pores were however visible, and adding additional product does not help this, have also tried the less and more approach, but neither works well. Over time, the foundation did not wear well, it became patchy and seemed to crease around the nose area. As for my rosy cheeks, well still no need for blusher, as they shone through. Very disappointed. Still within the first 30 days, so returning under the foundation trial.

I have always used Beyond Perfecting, but after a recent bout of dermatitis which left me with extra dry skin, I needed something more fluid & light. I managed to get a free sample of Even Better Refresh as advised by the Clinique assistant in my local store. Needless to say I was delighted to find it works beautifully on me. My skin stays moisturised all day long & my wrinkles are less visible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed Have used Clinique for years and have been a regular wearer of the original even better: was looking forward to the 'added benefits' of this version but this is totally the opposite of all past Clinique foundations: it sits on my skin and dries out puckering on the surface actually giving the effect of wrinkles.... after wearing for three days to give it a fair run : I will simply not be willing to try again ..should have stuck to my tried and trusted option: very diasappointed

I'm 02 fresh ivory in the clinique anti blemish solutions foundation, what colour would I need in this please?

This Clinique even better is not drying at all. It covers well and I always use moisturiser underneath. I haven&rsquo;t heard of the one you use though so I&rsquo;m not sure on coverage or consistency difference&nbsp;
