Changed from the original formula
This was changed from the original 8 flower nectar oil which was absolutely fabulous. The original formula was deeply hydrating with only 2-3 drops; this formulation isn't nearly as good or hydrating. I have very dry sensitive skin and I had to use quite a bit to get the same results... I switched to another brand as this is not worth the money

A Very Poor Replacement
For anyone who has used the original 8 Flower Nectar, and I have for upwards of 10 years, this is a very, very poor replacement. The original was ridiculously expensive, but the best on the market. This thin, cheap smelling liquid isn't even a patch on the Rose oil . Please bring back the original - SOON !!

Beautiful golden oil
Having used the previous version i much prefer the new formulation. My skin looks so much smoother brighter and supple. I found personally the previous version too fragranced and it did not smooth my complexion or give as much of a glow as this does. Exceptional quality as always by Darphin

Not deserving of its name
Wholeheartedly agree with some of the reviews below. Received a sample of the 8 flower golden nectar and was very excited to try it to see how it compared with the original. So relieved that saved me the disappointment and risk of purchasing a full size! It is nothing like the original, wonderful 8 flower oil. The smell before was divine; now it smells like baby powder. I'm not even sure what the gold is supposed to be doing. The previous version was beautifully hydrating and left a lovely glow; now I'm just left with slightly less dry skin. Can only assume this is because of cost or difficulty sourcing ingredients on the part of Darphin, but it never should have been changed.

Luxurious, delightful skin treat that made a difference
I have been using the 8-Flower Golden Nectar for months and I have to say, until today, I still very impressed with the shine and healthy glow it makes my skin looks. Very noticeable because I don't use this product every single day but on the days which I do, I feel confident, happy and contented. The only thing that I would like to point out is that every time I'm using the product, after I've opened the bottle, dripped a few drops to mix with my moisturiser, I have this tendency to forget to twist the dropper cap back, risking myself from toppling the precious bottle of gold on the next use (happened once).

A true golden oil
I am a huge fan our 8-flower Nectar Oil. There is nothing out there that leaves my skin as smooth and supple as that oil, and the scent is honestly divine. I love applying it every evening followed by a night cream, usually something hydrating as my skin is dry. When I saw this oil now had an updated 24Kt version, I HAD to splurge. Yes it's expensive, but I have to say it is worth every single penny. You have to be sure to mix it before you use the pepett to get hold of the oil before you apply, upon first application - I was wowed. My skin still feels supple and smooth but now there's like an added glow, super subtle but gorgeous. It's a treat! I might have to use this sparingly for sure.

I can't recommend the 8-Flower Golden Nectar enough. It has a great formula and I love how smooth my skin feels and I've gotten complements from friends that my skin looks great! I use it every night under my ideal resource overnight cream. Definitely worth the money!

Exceptional!
This is just like the 8-flower oil (which I am obsessed with) just bigger and better! I use it every night and my skin is so radiant and glowing in the morning, I keep getting complimented for it. It's so easy to apply and really sinks into skin without making my face greasy.
