It didn't budge from an early AM train ride (sweaty) through meetings and walks in NYC misty rain -- my face looked flawless from 7 am - 7 pm. FYI, I am 59 yrs old, brunette & green eyes, with fair/sensitive skin & some redness. My perfect shade in this is 1N2 Ecru. Really amazing, I'm buying more.

I do recommend using the aqua primer with it, the wear lasts longer and it looks better overall. Without the primer it is still good and the finish is nice, but I would recommend the primer as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Foundation Been wanting to try this for several years. Used findation to get my shade.Wow! Perfect match. Perfect coverage. I love it. A little more coverage than the skin tint (which I also love). I am 54 and have redness. I applied concealer first, then applied this foundation with my hands and used a beauty blender. Set it with loose powder. Looks and feels so good on my mature skin. Does not accentuate my dryness at all. I did moisturize really well before applying . If you have mature skin, try this! The pump is a great feature, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth and Velvety I was so impressed with this formulation! I am a hard core Double Wear user, for almost 30 years now. I have tried other foundations and have immediately gone back to the Double Wear. I did see a few tutorials on the Futurist Hydra Rescue and went to Hudson's Bay and the young lady gave me a trial sample. They didn't have my CDusk or C Pebble , so she put the Ivory Beige in the little tube. I have tried it for the past two days and was Amazed! I put it on under the Futurist Primer with a foundation brush and loved immediately how smoothly it glided over my face and evened out my skin tone and covered my redness and imperfections. I stiffled the brush on my chin because that's where some redness shows through. I loved how hydrated and smooth my face looked and felt. Wow! You sold me! Loved it! I am 67 years old and this is my new found keeper! Thank you Estée Lauder.

I do love some of the newer foundations that create a flawless finish and give good coverage, but they are not moisturizing. Using them over a good moisturizer alters the finish and the result feels heavy. This is the perfect compromise. Excellent natural coverage with the benefits of an excellent moisturizer. Looks like my own skin with the perfect amount of coverage and feels luxurious to boot. Will definitely be using in place of all the other foundations I have tried!

I took the Hydra foundation to Puerto Rico for vacation and started using it as my only facial spf because the sunscreen I packed left streaks on my face. The Hydra foundation blocked the sun on its own beautifully. No sunburn on my face and I went snorkeling, swimming, and hiking for a week with only one daily application (not endorsing this practice). You can see from my picture that my skin fared very well despite the humidity, sun, and water. I also use Estee Lauder's facial creams and serums daily and think it is doing its job well as I am 57.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay I've been waiting for a replacement for an EL tinted moisturizer called, "DayWear Multi-Protection Sheer Tint Release Moisturizer". This is not that, it's tinted and it's a very light-weight foundation, increased SPF from 15 to 45 and I like that BUT... it's hardly "Hydra Rescue". This goes on okay but it dries quickly and stays dry, not good looking at all on the forehead especially. I could expect this from a full coverage foundation but not this thin liquid calling itself "hydra". Also, I had to forgo two shades (sold out in most all of the "medium" shades already) I would have picked just to try it as I was excited to try it. This to me is a bit of a kiddie formula with an real adult price tag for sure. I do like the dispenser but I really don't like how dry it feels and you can't even use any primer first because that doesn't work at all.

I was wondering what this foundation is like on combination skin I can get quite an oily Tzone especially in summer.

I find this foundation gets shiny during the day. I definately have to powder my t-zone having dry/ normal skin.

Hi, I am shade 1in2Ecru in all other Est&eacute;e Lauder foundations, will it be to dark in this foundation? Also, would you say this foundation is good for combination skin? Thank you xx

I was the same shade in this foundation as I was in the water fresh. Only way to totally make sure is to get a sample in store when they are open. Feelunique had the best price so ordered from them. It is a really good foundation and I have now swapped from the water fresh
