What it is:

What else you need to know:

The formula lets the skin breathe; hydrates, balances and protects the skin from pollution. The complexion is more even; the appearance of imperfections is reduced. An unique and disruptive bottle by the designer Mathieu Lehanneur, inspired by the subtle art of balance.

Available in 30 shades to match every skin tone.

Directions

Suggested Usage:
-Activate: To awaken the complexion, pat the skin with the LíEssentiel brush (sold separately) before applying makeup. Start at the inner corner of the eye, go to the ear, and then move down toward the chin.
-Prepare: Use Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil (sold separately) as a primer. Apply two to three drops of the oil to the face and neck.
-Unify: Apply the foundation directly to the LíEssentiel brush (sold separately), depending on your desired level of coverage—one drop for light coverage, two to three drops for medium coverage. Dab the foundation onto the face at five points: forehead, nose, chin, and left and right cheeks. Blend the foundation from the center of the face, outward until the result is even.
-Enhance: Add a finishing touch with the Météorites Compact (sold separately) for a shine-control effect, followed by Terracotta Light (sold separately) for a sunkissed, healthy-looking glow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant for dry mature skin I've tried so many foundations over the years going from cheap to expensive and this one is the best by far. Great coverage, doesn't sink into lines and wrinkles, it's perfect for dry skin, it sort of melts into your skin. I've actually found that since using this my skin has improved, my pores have shrunk, have less breakouts. The ingredients work with your skin not against it.

I was actually in my nearest department store looking for a new perfume and this was the one I fell in love with but I would never purchase from there as fragrances are so much cheaper at feel unique, I actually got it £21 cheaper. Beautiful fragrance.

This is a nice natural lightweight foundation, the coverage really is light so you have to use concealer if you have any imperfections to hide, but the best part for me is knowing the ingredients are mainly natural. Not sure it's worth the price tag but I like to think that it's the quality ingredients you are paying for.

I'm also a late bloomer when it comes to makeup, my mother never taught me about it, so I'm learning now! This foundation is worth every penny, the finish is beautiful!!

Hello Maria, I've bought Guerlain L'Essentiel Foundation in 01 N color and i've been using Chanel foundation in 020 which is an exact match to my skin, but Guerlain foundation is darker than my natural skin color. It's better to try any sample before buying it. Overall this product is very nice and light.
