Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was an original GHD user back in the day & I loved them but now nit do much. Not hot enough compared to others. I have fine hair which gets caught in the join of the two main pieces and rips hairs out of my head. Very scratchy.

Do the ghd platinums work well in the USA please

Hi there, If you were to try and use a pair of GHDs in America, then in theory they should work, but would take longer to heat up and may not get as hot. However there are some reports that GHDs may fail if you try to use them on 110V. Hope this helps! Many thanks Katie, Beauty Expert.
