Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mixing process is unclear and poor design is poor! I bought this product in store today as a birthday treat. Annoyingly I didn’t realise you had to mix the powder into the serum before you could use it. I followed the steps on the back of the box but the powder did not mix with the serum at all. I had to find a YouTube video to see what I was doing wrong. The instructions are not clear that when you remove the bottom cap, you need to ensure the black rubber part, remains inside the white cap. It seems this does not happen as it should and therefore the rubber part falls inside the serum leaving you with a product that can’t mix!! Concept is good (the product is fresh as it can be) BUT extremely poor execution. Not something you expect for this sort of price point.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not recommend There are highly elaborate instructions where for sone reason you have to make the cream yourself, I followed them but I guess it did not work as the cream made my face red and when I looked online at issues o saw the cream was wrong colour and on opening the product up saw it had not mixed properly and was broken inside - I just don’t get why this was necessary just sell the cream mixed like every other cream does / I felt ripped off and irritated

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Defective packaging Whilst i really like the product i was very disappointed that the rubber dispensing system ripped after only using the product a couple times. This is a defective packaging as I could not dispense to cream from the plastic tube after it ripped and broke the seal

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I bought this a few weeks ago and in the mixing of the serum with the retinol infused powder the lid of the bottle, the rubber part that you press to dispense the product fell inside the lid and the powder would not mix with the serum. When I opened the lid to check why the powder wasn't mixing it split everywhere including onto my hand and caused a temporary stinging burn mark for 12 hours. I am so happy that I didn't use this product on my face. I'm a HUGE Kiehl's fan but not this product. What a huge let down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not suitable for breastfeeding or pregnancy! Bought and used this product while breastfeeding then realised by coincidence that retinol is not recommended topically for breastfeeding or pregnant ladies. I contacted Kiehls who confirmed this is not recommended however i can find nothing on the product information or the product itself that states this. Hence giving 1 star. I am returning for a refund. I will definitely try this when I am finished breastfeeding though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely terrible Very disappointed, I bought this product a few days ago. Only used twice, on my second time, my face felt painful and red marks come out. I quickly washed face and put cool pad on. I have been using Kielh products for over 10years. Had no problems ever. This product says all types of skin and I am not sensitive skin either. Be careful before buy, you will not hope waste lot of money on this product that you can't use. I hope Kielh give sample to the loyalty customer for new product so no waste on the money like me. Hope Kielh give refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I bought this serum and I could not get the result, I do not know how it works on other facial skins, but for me it works, I only use it for 1.5 months and I see an improvement, the skin is clearer and uniform in color, moisturized and smoothed and I am happy and recommend it, you must be patient and don't expect a big effect after a few weeks, I recommend it

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not loving it I'm afraid I bought this 6 weeks ago, having been recommended it by a Kiehls consultant. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Kiehls fan and religiously use their products and, indeed, have persuaded my teenage daughters they should to. This product, however, has left me a bit cold. I'm not seeing any particular benefits and find the whole design of the bottle etc a complete debacle. The whole set up you have to go to to add one ingredient to another just strikes me as cynical marketing to make you think its worth it. The container, once mixed, is also annoying to use and difficult to get the right amount out of. The product itself doesn't really fill me with any confidence and doesn't seem to have made as much difference as other Kiehls products. All in all, I just don't think its worth the money (or the hype) and will go back to other Kiehls products I find are justified in praise.
