Good but lose the comb...
After much deliberation.. I bought this a few days ago.. I have long hair and lots of it.. naturally wavy... my first impression is good... I don’t find them at all bulky as I’ve been using the extra wide cloud straighteners for years and they’re about the same width. However, if you’re used to using slim straighteners you will find them bulky...
Ok.. first up heat is heat.. so obviously it would be better for your hair if you didn’t even use a hairdryer.. but if you want poker straight... you’re going to need a bit of help... these were better for my hair due to the fact that you only need to do one passover... there’s no need to keep doing the same section.. but make sure the arrow (clearly marked) is pointing down... I also removed the comb.. it’s very plastic (for £235 I would’ve expected better) as it was setting my teeth on edge and literally ripping my hair out! Once the comb is removed you can straighten without worrying about hair breakage... it’s quicker than irons and must be kinder because it’s steam.. but as I said earlier heat is heat...
Overall I’m quite impressed.. they’re definitely replacing my clouds but also make sure you buy the demineralised water ... don’t fill them with tap water... they will break... and your guarantee will be void because you’re not supposed to use tap water... beware.. this is not visually stated anywhere but it is important..

Steam convert
I have been wanting to try the steam technology for quite some time now and I must say I am now definitely fully converted. It is very easy to fill up the straighteners and the little bottle that is provided means there is no mess involved. At first I did find the straighteners a little difficult to use as it has the built in brush it was a little difficult placing the straightener on your hair but this quite became second nature after a about 5 minutes. The straightener does have a noise it kind of sounds like an iron but for me it is not an issue at all. I have very long medium to thick hair and it only took me about 20 mins working in sections to straighten my whole hair which I found really quick. I noticed while straightening my hair it only took a few strokes to get it my hair pin straight which is amazing as I have wavy hair. My hair looked so healthy, smooth and shiny the next day my hair was still straight. For someone that needs to use heat often these straighteners are prefect as it is less damaging to the hair. The only tip I would give is make sure your hair is brushed properly with no tangles before using the straighteners to prevent your hair getting caught in the integrated brush.

Soft, sleek straight and beautiful curls

QUITE HEAVY
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The straightening tool was easy to fill and heated up very quickly. However, it is so heavy, even before the small amount of water was added. I have baby fine hair and found on first use that even on the lowest temperature, it started to singe some of my hair, so I unplugged it, waited for it to cool down somewhat, then tried again. I am not sure what kind of result it is expected to achieve, but my hair had no body in it and just hung straight, it looked awful. Something I won't be recommending to others.

I absolutely love these, I use theseon the lowest heat setting as my hair is fairly damaged, it still manages to stay straight plus the hair feels silky to the touch, absolutely agreat buy

Is this any good for shorter hair chin length? My hair is thick and on the market for new straightners
I don’t think so. You would be fine with the top hair but the very short bits would be a bit hard.
