Best Anti-Ageing Creams And Moisturisers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Redermic review Such a great product. Doesn’t break me out as I thought it would.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Make my skin sore and red Sadly this didn't suit my skin. I bought it because it's aimed at sensitive skin. I've tried it several times over many months but each time, after using it for 2 or 3 nights, the skin around my eyes is red and sore. It's too much a coincidence for this to happen each time so it must be the product. I am very happy with many LRP products but not this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soreness! Not for sensitive eyes, skin feels like it is burning. I hope La Roche Posay can provide me something to counter this effect! I was better off not using anything before!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely eye cream I was a bit worried about using retinol around my eyes, but my skin really needed it and I just blind bought this eye cream. And I am happy I did, because it is amazing! Perfect for the sensitive area around my eyes, it visibly reduced the signs of ageing in just 2 weeks! It is, in my opinion, the best retinol product for the eyes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive results I've been using this retinol cream for about a month and I already like the results. My blemish prone skin has cleared up and fine lines look less visible. It doesn't irritate my skin like other retinol creams and it has a lightweight texture wgich absorbs quickly. My skin feels smooth and looks more even. Highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from La Roche Posay Redermic range I have used this product for many years-really good moisturiser and excellent coverage without feeling clogged up. I use the whole range of products and wouldn’t be without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great moisturiser that doesn’t leave you skinned (literally) Great moisturiser. Not too greasy, worked well underneath my normal foundation. It’s difficult to find a moisturiser for skin in your 40s, as some of the ones marketed for mature skin are often too heavy and the ones for younger skin inefficient. This one does ticks all the boxes, I would say, it’s an ‘entry level’ retinol moisturiser with a nice texture and longevity that doesn’t come with a hefty price tag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good I think??? Changed from the liquid retinol for this. Haven’t noticed much difference but skin hasn’t changed at all so guess it’s doing fine

SPF breaks me out badly - is it recommended to apply SPF everyday even if only using the retinol weekly? Also - if not going outside AT ALL the following day after evening application could an SPF be avoided that way? Thanks

Asked by: kellyanne
I am the same with spf, it creates unbreathable film on my skin and causes breakouts too. However i've been using retinol 1% and only wear foundation with spf, no dark spots from sun damage so far.

I thought that this wasn’t perfumed but then noticed the final ingredient is perfume? I have very sensitive skin and perfumes usually trigger a rash so is it likely this product would do that even though it says it’s suitable for sensitive skin?

Asked by: Sarah
Hi, Thank you for your query. I can confirm that all of La Roche-Posay's products use a hypoallergenic fragrance which is safe for sensitive skin types. Can I use this product after Effaclar Duo? If it is not suitable tell me please what other anti-age products from La Roche Posay are appropriate.

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi, Both of the two products are moisturisers. So the best way to use these in combination would be to use the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo as your day cream and use the La Roche-Posay Redermic [R] Anti-Wrinkle Treatment - Intensive as your night time moisturiser. The La Roche-Posay Redermic [R] Anti-Wrinkle Treatment - Intensive contains retinol which is not to be used during the day. Happy shopping! Thanks, Ghazal - Senior Beauty Connect Advisor
