Whirl of a time
I have always heard alot about the shade whirl of mac lipsticks but never tried it. My impression was that its meant to be a brown based nude with a touch on pink in it. From the packaging the colour on the box suggests the same. When opened I found the lipstick looked more of a reddier brown. When I tried on with my skintone it played out darker but muted. However it enhanced my natural lip colour well without looking too bold. The shape of the bullet and the formula helped glide on smoothly and create a sharp lip line. The finish was a demi matte or silky finish. It felt moisturising to wear. It's pigmented enough to cover the lip in one go. The lipstick does transfer, I found when drinking my tea. It is claimed as a long lasting lipstick but I found it had faded some by lunchtime. It stains the lip so you potentially could get away without needing to top up for a couple of hours more. But it wasnt a lipstick that lasts 12 hours as advertised.

The same amazing colour, just more comfortable

It's still just as pigmented and gorgeous as the original Diva, but it's creamier and a lot more comfortable to wear. LOVE! I am an ELC employee and was gifted this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite shade Velvet Teddy, the pigment is so much more intense in the new-formula and sits so nice on the lip. It still looks the same and colour is still the OG velvet teddy - only difference is it stays on longer, feels more moisturizing but still matte. It really is bigger and better and I love it!!!!

Just as good as the original!

My favourite MAC bullet but BETTER!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear my MAC matte lipsticks everyday so I was super excited to try the new upgraded version and it did not disappoint! My lips didn't feel dry at all despite the matte finish and the colour lasted throughout the day. I can't wait to try some more of the new shades!
