For Nail Art Only
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this product in exchange for my honest review. I am not good at painting my own nails, and this looked like it would be easier to use.
I really put this product to work, and I can confidently say that it is easier to use from a precision standpoint, but the drawbacks make this not worth it, at least for me. It works fairly well for doing nail art, but doesn’t work for painting the entire nail. It is advertised as being a versatile product that can do both, so I had to reduce my star rating to reflect that.
I was expecting the tip to be brush-like, but it is hard plastic. It looks and feels very much like an ink pen. This makes for a very precise application, but it only works for small areas. The polish does not flow out of the tip, so you can’t do a continuous line. I was able to easily create a heart shape on my nails, and it was easy to outline my nails without getting polish all over my skin. However, it was almost impossible to paint my nails fully. I had to go up and down a million times on each nail trying to get enough coverage. The polish dries very quickly, so I had very visible lines from all the pen strokes. It was impossible to get a smooth finish. Also, the polish dries up on the tip as you are using it, which leads to an even further chunky application. I had to constantly wipe the tip off with nail polish remover. It also needs constantly primed/pumped in order for polish to continue to be released.
Unfortunately the worst part of this is, it chips within 24 hours. On one of my hands I used the polish alone, and on the other I used my own base and top coats (from another brand). The hand with base/top coat chipped around 24 hours later, by 48 hours about 1/3 of the polish had chipped off. The hand with polish only chipped within 8 hours, and by 48 hours 3/4 of the polish had chipped off. Even with the base and top coats this had worse performance than any nail polish I have ever used.
I really do like the color. It is very vibrant and playful, and I got several compliments that first day (before they started to chip). It is a shame the formula is lacking, or I would wear this regularly.
If you need something to do nail art, I might recommend this, provided you prime properly and use a top coat. It really was quite easy to do hearts, polka dots, etc. I definitely would not recommend this for “traditional” nail application though, it doesn’t provide a smooth finish and takes much longer to do than with a traditional nail brush.

Fun Mani Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I absolutely love the color of this! It’s a gorgeous bright pink, almost neon! The product itself is really fun to use and provides unlimited possibilities if you’re creative and talented enough! I tried out a basic “drip” design for my first time and then sealed it with a top coat. My left hand was easier to do than my right of course haha but pleased with the results nonetheless. I would definitely recommend you give this a try if you want an easy and fun way to do designs on your nails. Also suggest getting all the colors to make even more unique and fun designs.

It's okay

It’s runny

Love this!
