Awful - worse thing I’ve ever bought!
I bought this and was really hoping it would be good, but it is quite literally the worse thing I’ve ever bought! The gel doesn’t come off onto the brush and it leaves a mess of old make up on the gel pot also, I kept trying and trying and could not get this to clean the brush at all and the gel didn’t seem to be getting on the brush at all !

Sadly this is not very good
I have just tried to use this for the first time, it is almost impossible to get any product out. I was w/o if the instructions are wrong? Pls update the usage guide or change the product! Do not recommend!

Shocked Real Techniques would sell any bad quality
Im a HUGE Real Techniques fan. I wont purchase any other sponge or makeup brush brand. They´re affordable & amazing quality! Also since they come out with different themed brush and sponge sets I started collecting them all. I have a few of their cleansing products and accessories including this one..I don´t understand where they went wrong here. The balm is literally rock hard, not a drop of any oil, liquid or how a balm normally would feel. Basically its so hard, nothing is coming out of that sucker to apply to your sponges or brushes. It might as well be frozen ice. Again, not just a Karen complaining, because i´m obsessed with RT everything. Just this particular item turned out to be crappy. Maybe its just me, or the store I bought it from. Lol. But just here warning my fellow RT users. This one wasn't so great unfortunately.

Avoid buying.
This is...so bad. I feel I must be missing something as I'm the only one who thinks so. When I rub my make up brush on the balm it picks up little to no product, even with light or intense force. And after I have brushed one of the brushes on the balm, it leaves the top layer of the balm with residue of the makeup which then I need to clean before I can use swipe the brush over it all over again. Maybe I'm missing something but spray brush cleaners are much better. The only advantage of this is the silicone pad which is useful to rub your brush over, but even that is inefficient as I have to hold it down in the lid because it keeps moving. Just a complete waste of time.

Rubbish
I bought this yesterday and thought it would be good but it is a total waste of money . It doesn’t clean straight away . I had to keep doing it several times then ended up using an anti bacterial soap to get rid of the greasiness the balm left on it. All my brushes are real technics and are good but hate it when a product I buy doesn’t work.
