My go-to hassle free foundation
I love it. This is THE one for me. I searched for "sports makeup" (lol) and this came up. My daily activities include carrying a 20lbs baby almost all day, as well as running errands without a car and I got fed up with looking disgusting after a trip to the shop after taking time that I don't have much of to apply skincare, sunscreen foundation etc. Not to mention the hassle of finding a good sunscreen and a good foundation and making sure they are compatible is a hassle and expensive. This saves me having to apply a high spf sunscreen separately, although I do use a moisturiser with spf underneath, as this was recommended in the product leaflet.
I'm at a stage in my life where I don't want perfect coverage, which doesn't exist in my price range anyway, or looks ugly texturewise. I have purple undereye marks near the inner corner which are making me look much older now, and some hyperpigmentation and redness of cheeks (but that just looks like I applied blush, so thats lucky and doesn't really bother me). I was expecting this to unify the overall colour of my complexion a bit and expected it to be neither matt nor extremely shiny. When I first applied it, it looked very different from how foundation looks when applying but as soon as I saw my upper lip melasma practically disappear, I was in love. It is just dewy enough for me might not be everyone's cup of tea so beware if you're after a matte look, this will have to be powdered down for that.
It's comfortable to wear and it does seem to withstand minor sweating. While this is the most expensive face product I've bought so far, I think it's well worth it because - for me - it's perfect out of the box. When I can be bothered I add some concealer to the purple areas under my eye but they look much better and blended I'm with this alone. I love the packaging and the scent too. 5* for sure.
