I brought this hesitantly, I'm not sure of people are upset that its mew or something or different, it doesnt take that long to rub in and i my opinion is better than the discontinued one.

Facial tanning moisturiser
Why has the medium dark been discontinued! Been using it every summer for years. New product is useless. Won’t be buying St Tropez again. Prime example of a tried and tested product being dismissed by some new millennial executives with not a clue as to why some products remain popular. It’s because they work….

Poor product - nothing like the original
Same disappointment to those expressed by others. Used the original gradual face tan (med-dark) for years, loved it. Recently tried this new version after realising the original was no longer available and expected it to be as good. This version takes ages to rub into the skin and be absorbed, and it leaves a dry white residue on some parts of my face (side and under chin) despite carefully rubbing it in. Haven't noticed any change in my skin colour after 3 weeks of using. Definitely an inferior product to the original. Such a shame. St. Tropez will have lost lots of customers I'm sure. Would be interesting to know why they pulled the original and replaced with this product - all my online research hasn't resulted in finding any explanation.

Don't understand the negative reviews - this is meant to be a daily cream so yes it takes several applications but it does build up to a nice colour. It has good anti ageing ingredients and I really enjoy using this product.

Fantastic for Fair skin!
I am stunned at the negative reviews! I have fair skin and this gives a beautiful light suntan glow (if you want a medium or dark tan this is not for you). Best of all, it dries quickly, isn’t that tacky feeling. I put it on at 8pm, wear it to bed (which I never do with sunless tanners because of how gross they feel etc) and in the morning I have this sun kissed glow. Absolutely love it - perfect feel, perfect colour! (Again, I am fair skinned).

Old gradual tan medium to dark was very good, but this is absolutely terrible product. Makes you orange and nothing can do. Why you take old product off? Is it coming available again someday?

So disappointed. I bought three of these to stock up…..big mistake. I absolutely loved the old facial tan I don’t understand why companies discontinue products when they are so good especially to replace it with a product that is useless and just horrible. I actually threw the products in the bin. I certainly do not have money to waste but it was just not something I’d want to use again. The texture was awful and really drying on the skin. Sadly I would not recommend at all.

Gradual Tan new formula is disappointing
I used the original medium/dark version of this for over 15 years, and loved it.
The new version smells unpleasant, drys my skin and does not absorb easily. I won’t be buying it again.
I’m so sad the product has changed. I’m confused about why this has happened. Surely it gets tested before it is launched? It is obvious to me that this version is inferior to the old one.
