Directions

Step 1: start with your cupid's bow and upper lip: starting at the center of the upper lip, use the tip of the bullet to shape the cupid’s bow and work towards the lip corners.

Step 2: the lower lip: for the lower lip, apply from the corners of the lip towards the center using the edges of the bullet.

It does transfer very easily and sit in the creases if you haven’t properly prepared your lips beforehand but if you properly prep your lips it is a very good lipstick and feels hydrating which is good when I use it everyday.

The precision bullet makes it easy to apply - either with a lipliner for a sharper, more defined look, or without for a softer appearance. The intense pigmentation means only one coat is needed, which will last for hours before the need to reapply. The lipstick leaves my lips feeling moisturised but not at all sticky and gives a beautiful satin finish. With so many colours to choose from, there is a Rouge Pur Couture for every occasion.

The texture is creamy and finish is matte. However it does not last for long at all, also after drinking cup of tea or coffee it marks around the lips and skin around the lips. I absolutely love the packaging, texture and the shade but did not like the longevity

Easy to apply and the texture feels luxurious on the lips. Cons: I didn't love the color, or at least not for winter. Maybe in summer when I'm tanner will match my skin better but now it looks like an orange lipstick.

The YSL Rouge Pur Couture satin lipstick ticked all the boxes. I was given the colour NM to sample an everyday nude and really loved wearing it during the day and also for evening glamour. My lips stayed colourfully hydrated with no flaking or cracking a total no lipstick feel! I will definitely look to stock up on some more colours from the range.

I normally use the Tatouage Matte Couture lipstick, which I love! I do think that this one was very light on the lips but sadly did not last as long.
