Competition winning star of our #UniqueChristmas campaign Gemma, also known as ‘London’s lesbian sweetheart’, makes a sweet comeback for Valentinine’s Day. This time, the nurse who is currently studying for her Masters, joins us with her fiancé, TV producer Megan. Having met on Tinder three years ago the pair are newly engaged and looking forward to a lifetime of love, laughter and bickering over the price of tea-bags.

How did you meet?

Megan: We met on Tinder. And you messaged me first!
Gemma: Yeah, probably.
Megan: Yeah, you did.
Gemma: Then we went to G-A-Y for our first date, obviously. And the rest is history.

Was it love at first sight?

Gemma: Probably not. I don't really believe in love at first sight.
Megan: I don't think it was love at first sight, you thought I was boring.
Gemma: No I didn’t!
Megan: You thought I looked boring.
Gemma: On Tinder, yeah.

Why did she look boring on Tinder?

Gemma: I think it's just so funny because I just think I had such a different perception of what you would be like. For some reason I just thought that she was going to go to the library and she was doing a masters or something academic.
Megan: I've never gone to a library.

Megan, what is unique about Gemma?

Megan: I think Gemma is unique because I've never felt like I can be more myself around anyone else, ever.

And Gemma, what is unique about Megan?

Gemma: I think Megan is unique because she can read me before I even know what's going on myself. So if I'm stressed about something, she's pre-thought that I'm going to be stressed about it and diffuses it.

You were Born This Way…

Gemma: Gay.
Megan: Awkward.

Tell us something Mind Blowing.

Gemma: Space.
Megan: Elephants. They’re just so majestic, huge, clever and they never forget. And I always forget. Maybe that’s why.

What’s Better Than Sex?

Gemma: Laughing.
Megan: And Biscoff.
