Directions

Suggested Usage:
-Dip the tip of the Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush (sold separately) into Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner, being sure to coat both sides of the brush.
-Wipe off any excess on a tissue.
-Working quickly, apply liner in short, even strokes close to the lash line—from the inner to the outer eye corner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smudges fast I had high hopes for this seeing as it is a cult favourite, but was disappointed. The texture and colour are lovely however it is not waterproof or smudge proof as the description claims. Primer or not, a couple hours in and it's all over the corners of my eyes. Not worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go-to eyeliner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first used this product a decade ago and it's still the only pot eyeliner I continue to use. The product does not dry out in the pot (I also store it upside down), which means I use up every bit of it. It stays put on my oily lids every time. I also personally prefer this pot because I can recycle the components when it's done.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive mistake I ordered Steel Grey because I wanted GREY. This is black (no, not a mis-picking in the warehouse, it is labelled "Steel Grey"). If I'd wanted black I'd have ordered black. And yes, it is smudge-able and it certainly stays on, as I found out to my cost. My eye make-up remover, which words with every other product, left me with panda eyes. It smudged but just would not clean off. I had to disguise it with foundation. Used it once - never again. Total waste of money for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Has this eyeliner changed? 7th and final buy.So disappointed I've had 6 of these in the past and they were amazing - literally stayed up put and colour dense all day but I haven't bought one for about 3 years. I've just got the espresso ink again and the staying power and colour density is terrible! It's really see through not mat when you put it on and within 4 hours it's faded so much it's almost gone. I used it with the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow stick and eyeliner brush as normal and I'm so disappointed. This literally was my HG eyeliner, now there are cheaper ones that are far better, I won't buy again. :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from best eyeliner I have found - used it for years I love this product for the way it goes on easily and smoothly and has real lasting power. Never found anything else as good BUT please, please bring back some of those lovely colours. Black is a bit too hard for me at my age and brown just doesn't cut it with my brown eyes. I am yearning for a dark blue or charcoal!!! Please!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Please bring back this shade I love the perfectly defined gel eyeliner and have been using it for many years. It is easy to use, lasts well, does not run and looks great... The only problem is...... you do not seem to do Black Ivy anymore? All the shades are various shades of black or brown which does not give much choice. Please bring back the Black Ivy, which is actually green it is so flattering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from How do I make this last all day? I usually just wear eye shadow but had make up done at your counter and tried this eyeliner. I like it a lot but it doesn't stay on very long. Can you advise what I can use under it to make it last longer please? Eyeshadow lasts all day and eyeliner on top of it doesn't strangely.
