Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyday Wear This foundation is very light. But I find it ideal for everyday general use. It's light so only gives a hint of colour, but sufficient for me. I don't like heavy foundation that I find can cake into lines. I use it on top of futurist aqua brilliance primer.

It is no where as good as the double wear light that was deleted, I loved that in all of its perfection! This one falls into lines accentuating them and wrinkles quite badly even with a primer, the coverage just vanishes after a few hours... its just not good or worth the money... it just fails miserably!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish I'd read the reviews first So disappointed with this foundation.i expected a lighter coverage, however did not expect the slimy oil feeling it leaves on my skin. I've used Double Wear for years, I now peri menopausal and need a soft foundation with good coverage. This Sheer is poor, the cost for 30mls is almost £40 which is more expensive than Double wear full coverage. It is leaves my skin looking wet, not sheer, the transference to clothing and hands is bad Im blotting skin every hour, so by the end of the day I have no make up left on my face. The scent is vile, smells like a.cheap fake tan. I will be looking to Rimmel in future.

Double Wear Light was an excellent product that covered without being cakey, lasted all day, and had amazing reviews. I have no idea where the 5 star reviews are coming from for this product, unless you already have almost perfect skin. Forget it if you have combination or oily. This product slides off, doesn't last all day and finds every wrinkle. To get the same coverage as I used to with the DWL I need to use twice as much. Very, very disappointed and if you look on independent review sites you'll see there is a much different take than here.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I really wanted to like this foundation i tried it serveral times to see if i could make it work it slides off my face separates after only few hours I've tried with and without powder and setting spray to see if it made any difference but doesn't last. My skin looks so oily after few hours of wear. Please bring back double wear light.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not For Me I was recommended the double wear foundation by a friend, as the foundation I was using didn't last the day. Up until now, I have worn it only on special occasions while using up my old foundation. However, after using it for 5 days straight my skin has broken out and is sore. I switched back to my old foundation and my skin is slowly clearing. The product is obviously not suitable for skin type.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Double wear sheer disappointing Really disappointed with this foundation. Have used double wear for years and previously used double wear light which was great. Sadly this foundation is not for me. Trying to apply with brush or sponge you end up wasting so much product as it just sinks into the brush or sponge it's so watery. Applied with fingers and a light tapping motion, doesn't last at all on the skin and I don't have oily skin. Transfers off face too. For the price I wish I'd just got my normal double wear foundation now. The colours good I purchase in tawny, however the product itself is very poor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I was so excited to try this product, sadly it was a disaster I had used doublewear light for years and was sad to see it discontinued, but a replacement with more glow and plumping sounded appealing now i've reached my mid forties. I tried everything to make it work. Primers, powders, setting sprays, on its own, mixed with doublewear. Nothing worked. It would wear off after half an hour of leaving the house! I am deeply disappointed to have parted with money for a useless product.
