Really like it for my acne skin
Ive only Been using it for a little over a week but man what a difference this has made to my skin! I have very problematic, flaky, acne prone, cloggged skin with seborrheic dermatitis. This is the first “oil” that hasn’t broken me out, lays beautifully under makeup and is very soothing at night. 3 small drops is more than enough per application!!! Otherwise yes it will get oily. Haven’t had any problems with pilling. I use it after cleansing and after my buffet serum (now called something else) and before my moisturizer.
Excited for more positive results with continued usage ☺️

I lov(ed) your Hemi Squalane serum. I use it almost every day!! Why did you cancel Hemi Squalane???? :((
The normal one is way too concentrated and too oily!
Please bring back my favorite product :(

Causes pilling
Causes pilling when used with other serums/creams :<
It's advertised as a serum but it's just an oil that doesn't combine with anything water-based, in my experience.

Amazing results
My hair became dry, brittle and tangled mess when I was asked it. I have tried several moisturizing hair masks over the past month with no success. I used this oil 0n my scalp and hair and left it on overnight as I had done with the other products. It washed out easily, no tangles and my hair is restored back to its original state.

Oily!
Wish I never bought this serum, it claims to be fast absorbing, but for me it’s not, it leaves me looking like an oily and greasy mess. Won’t be buying again.

Moisturizing without being greasy
I love this product so much that I'm leaving a review. If I ever forget it when out of town I get sad because my skin feels so dry without it. It's the perfect moisturizing oil/serum. I have acne prone skin too and was nervous but I doesn't break me out! 10/10 I like a lot of the ordinary products but this one is a game changer! I can't imagine not using it.

OMG MY FAV
I bought this product a few weeks ago and i will never swap it out for anything else. personally, i have dry, dehydrated skin and i needed a product to help rebuild my hydration and skin textures. i used the ordinary suggestion and it works amazing! my favourite product by far!

The only soothing product that cured my burns from
I’ve always loved every The Ordinary product I’ve ever used- since the very beginning. I trust the transparency, simplicity, and realistic price points that created its own unique place in the industry. A few years ago I began using tretinoin, a prescription retinol, to address the facial skin problems like Milia, rough patches, Sun spots, early wrinkles, etc. Most know that when starting such a harsh product your face goes through a retinol-purge where your face is very red, angry, peeling, and it brings all the pimples and blemishes to the surface. It’s part of the process but people aren’t usually told how extremely painful it is because this new skin underneath the peeling is absolutely raw. Even sleeping was affected by pain. I needed something to soothe this fire-face feeling and my first go to was a popular drugstore moisturizer many dermatologists recommend but it burned so badly i had to run cool water on my face for half an hour. Then I tried 100% aloe Vera gel- what we put on painful sunburns. Aloe also burned so terribly. I looked to The Ordinary because it’s so easy to find a specific product for whatever your specific need is. I found the 100% plant-derived Squalane and applied it immediately. It was the most soothing, calming, and hydrating experience I could have hoped for. The gentle purity and lightness evaporated right into my skin immediately. At that time, I really slathered it on and my skin drank it all up! Years later, I still use 100% Plant-Derived Squalane sometimes 3x/day and it’s still so light, never greasy, and always leaves my 49 year old skin glowing and fresh. Especially in the summer, and indoors since air conditioners dry out the air, and in the winter when indoor heat really dries out my skin. out of every product I’ve ever tried in my life- this one is truly miraculous on every level!

Can this product be used on eyebrows.
I use it all over my face and any left on my fingers I run them through my hair.
If you just want to use it on your eyebrows I would say just be careful not to get any in your eyes. Hope this is helpful.
