See results but at a cost
I have been using this product now for two months. Because I have sensitive skin, I started very slowly, applying this twice a week to every other day to now every day. I do see results: skin is brighter. However, I have noticed that the skin around my nose and mouth is often inflamed and I need to put heavy cream around this area to combat the irritation. I think the percentage is slightly too high for what my skin can tolerate so I will be looking for other products.

Reaction within a few days
Within a few days of using this product, i noticed my face would heat up after application and itchy red bumps would appear. I would get them through out the day. I tried stopping just this product (I also bought 3 other products) and the reaction went away. Too bad but definitely not working for me.

Strong allergic reaction
I had no problem taking the serum for several weeks. Until one day I woke up in the morning and had redness to my face, neck and décolleté, rash and swelling.
In my case, I can no longer use the serum.

Strong allergic reaction
I used this product for many weeks without any irritation.
But one day I woke up with strong skin allergic reaction: swollen eyes, itchy rash on my face, neck and chest (everywhere I have applied this serum).
Definitelly can not use it any more. Sorry.

Absolutely avoid this product- severe allergic
Avoid! Severe allergic reaction. A&E given piriton 4x a day. I’m now on 4th day with still burning skin, eyes and cheeks are still swollen.

Reduces redness like nothing I ever tried before
I love this product because it reduces the redness on my skin like nothing else I have ever tried. It will only take two or three days of continued use and I can already see the difference. Makes me use a lot less make up and feel more comfortable. I tried several other vitamin C products by the ordinary and more expensive brands and no other product has ever had such a visible effect. Love I!!!

This product contains Vitamin C which an effective antioxidant that brightens the skin tone and reduces the appearance of signs of aging. The Ordinary Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution offers a direct-acting form of Vitamin C, an effective antioxidant that has been shown to reverse multiple signs of skin aging while brightening the skin when applied topically.
I would recommend this for use on a maturer skin that requires brightening, however I would definitely be mindful when using it. Vitamin C can make the skin more sensitive and can have an adverse effect on skin that is sensitive already. You could start by using this product every other day, then once a day, slowly building up to twice a day as recommended.
