Caused rashes and swelling
I've used the ordinary salicylic acid for a long time and used their new product for a few weeks. Unfortunately I cannot any longer. It now causes red, raised welts around my eyes and the skin swelled up around it so badly they were peeling for days after. It took me weeks to get to the bottom of what was causing it.

Used to love this but can no longer use
I used this product for around 6 months with no problems however, recently it brings my face up in red patches sometimes with an itchy rash as well. This has possibly coincided with a new bottle - has the formula changed? I’m gutted as I previously loved this product and got loads of compliments on my skin but the irritation is too much now.

it foams due to capb in it
how come no one mentions the fact that it literally foams ??? i know they use salicylic acid pre-dissolved in coco-betaine from a supplier, but i figured the amount of surfactant was too low to have a cleansing effect. this literally foams on your face the minute you start rubbing it in. so i just pat it down and move on, but it's really unpleasant. it feels like leaving a cleanser on your face :////

Swollen lips and red itchy face
Used this product on my face and 1 day later came out in a big red itchy rash and swollen lips - I’ve used this before and not had a problem so likely due to new formula like everyone else. Would recommend patch testing or just avoiding all together! Since gone to the pharmacy for advice and recommend tablets to take to minimise the swelling and soreness. I have never had a reaction to other skincare products from the ordinary and wouldn’t describe my skin as sensitive.

Nothing special
I used this acid for few months and while it didn't irritate my skin or cause any issues, it didn't seem to do much good either. I didn't notice any difference in my skin. I have since moved to using mandelic acid.

Helped clear teenage acne
As someone with teenage acne this helped me get rid of major blemishes and acne around chin, cheeks. Still have small blemishes on my forehead which this product hasn’t helped with but after 3 months of using this I have noticed a huge difference.

causing really itchy skin
i used to use salicylic acid lots and then i came across the ordinary one and every time i used it it made my jaw line itch like CRAZY. i don’t diss any of the other ordinary products but i unfortunately wont be able to use this anymore
