The Platinum+ is always my go-to tool! You can create such a wide range of versatile looks and it’s so easy to use. This product is great for someone who invests in their hair and wants ghd with the very best ultra-zone, predictive technology. No matter what your hair type, how large your sections are or how fast you style, you will get a perfect result every time.

Changing the direction, angle and speed in which you use the styler helps you to create different types of curls. Also, how large the section is - the smaller the section, the more shape you get!

Can those with short hair styles create salon-worthy styles at home?

ALL of the ghd range can be used on short hair styles - we even have the ghd Mini or Unplugged, which are amazing for styling crops and pixie cuts. You can even get that perfect salon worth blowdry with our ghd Helios.

We’re seeing a lot of 70s inspired styles right now. How do we create at-home blow dry looks with max volume?

The right tools and products are key! Use ghd Rise Professional Hot Brush with ghd Pick Me Up Root Lift Spray together for a blown out texture. If you prefer using a hairdryer, Helios and Body Goals Total Volume Foam are a power couple!

For max texture, think volume from start to finish. You can also use Pick Me Up Root Lift Spray on wet hair - it works wonders when dried with a ceramic size 2 brush and Helios. If you struggle with these tools, the Rise Professional Hot Brush is like a magic wand.

We’ve also seen a lot of 90s styles popping up lately, how can we try some of these trends?

If you’re unsure how to achieve your desired look, tutorials online are amazing to help! The right tools and products also will help for slick styles. For example, Perfect Ending Final Fix Hairspray and using the Oval Dressing Brush is key!

How can we prep our hair to have the best longevity and finish?

Product and technique is key. Always dry products into the hair, and then reapply mists of either Bodyguard Heat Protect Spray or Curly Ever After Curl Hold Spray before using hot tools.

What are common mistakes people use when it comes to hair styling?

Not using the correct heat protectant and styling products to prep the hair before styling starts.

From thick, curly strands to thinner, silky hair, how do you style different hair textures?

Being aware of different textures and what individual hair types need can help! I find for thicker, curly hair, more hydrating products make styling a lot easier, whereas finer hair may need more holding products.
