Terrible company!
I've bought aveda products and have had my hair done in their salons for years so have spent thousands of pounds with them. A few days ago I decided to use the Cool Brown Renewal to tone up my hair, much to my horror it turned green! Unfortunately I didn't see the many reviews with the same problem before I used it, why has Aveda not given a warning with this product? I now have to inconveniently travel 25 miles to my salon and pay to get it stripped. I contacted Aveda customer services and were more horrified than the green hair how I was treated. They gave no apology and said because I hadn't bought from one of their sellers they would do nothing at all, they even made me feel like a liar asking for a before picture, making out I already had green hair! I cannot express how upset and disappointed I feel with this company who I thought I could trust All I can stress is don't use this product like so many other reviews have said and if you do and your hair goes green, please don't expect any apology or help from the horrible customer service team because you definitely won't get it, what a bad world we live in, the word greed comes to mind!

DO NOT BUY
I wanted to love this mask. I put it on my hair after washing as advised. I had used Clove conditioner as a mask in the past, but the hue was too ginger for me. When I applied this mask on my hair the colour was gorgeous, the smell and texture lovely. However, when I washed it or I discovered olive green colour! Olive suits me and is one of my favourites, but I would not go as far as having olive hair. Money wasted.

This product turned my hair green
Be very careful purchasing this Cool Brown product - I am currently in the hairdressers trying to salvage my hair colour. My hair has turned green, which my hairdresser tells me is a very difficult colour to remedy.

BE WARNED!
Was so disappointed that you could no longer buy the clove conditioner which I've been using for years so bought the cool brown colour renewal. It smells lovely and I thought it was great until a couple of weeks later my kids told me that my hair was green! DO NOT BUY!

Was exactly what I needed
A while ago I asked for caramel highlights at the hairdressers but she instead made me go very blonde. This whole year I have just put up with my natural brown roots with yellow blonde ends of my hair as I don't like using hair dyes. I found the cool brown hair mask and was praying for this to be the long needed solution. Which it was! My dull brown blonde ends now nearly match my natural brown hair colour and I feel so happy that all my hair is one block colour again. And this was just after first use. Not to mention the lovely smell and shine. I feel very grateful, thank you Aveda

Warm Blonde revived my beach blond hair
Honey tones added to my beach blond hair. Great condition after using, no need for conditioner after it is washed out. Purchasing again for my next holidays.

My Hair Turned Green!
After years of using the fantastic, and now discontinued, Clove conditioner (where has it gone?) I tried Colour Renewal on my light brown/dark blonde hair. I expected similar rich brown results but instead I ended up with green hair!! It was absolutely awful and I even bought the warmer brown Aveda conditioner to help improve the green but sadly this didn't work. A hairdresser told me that by adding a pink/red based conditioner to my hair would help to neutralise the green and so I bought a bright pink conditioner and thankfully this worked and my hair is now back to normal. A very disappointing experience.

Terrible - turned my hair green!
This is the worst hair colour product I have ever used. Was recommended it by my aveda stylist and it turned my hair green. DO NOT USE.
