Misleading
So this isn’t the fault of the brand and I guess it’s on me but when you look at this product you assume and when I say you, I’m including everyone pretty much that it is a magic makeup eraser, but does not need the added makeup cleanser, put onto it. I understand that washing your face with regular face wash May not be good enough for this brand especially because of how non-expensive it is and not essential, but it should be made more clear a dupe of the magic makeup eraser., I bought the real clean version during a trip because I forgot to bring one of the towels, the makeup eraser works much better than this thing does, and it doesn’t need any sort of soap, or makeup remover

Gentle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These makeup remover pads are awesome! Definitely make sure to follow directions and air dry these little guys so they continue to stay soft and fluffy. Both sides feel nice and soft with the white side being softer somehow. I do not like using cotton balls/pad which I use to apply exfoliating acids or with makeup removers because they can definitely feel scratchy on my sensitive days- the RT remover pads replace the cotton balls and are just so much better, gentle, and it's so great I can reuse them.

Helpful, but not sure it is for me

- soft and non-abrasive on my skin whether completely wet or relatively dry.
- does a good job of grabbing and removing makeup without too much tugging
- can be used to wash your face in general
- large surface area to clean makeup off more quickly
- ribbon loop to easily hang it to dry
- seems resilient, survived washer when in a lingerie bag with gentle detergent on a gentle cycle
Cons:
- concerned about the sustainability and sourcing of the polyester
- seems to soak up a lot of liquid makeup remover or micellar water
- really holds onto the makeup and cleansing balm, so it is difficult to to clean by hand, especially if you are short on time. This made me hesitant to use them the next day.
- the two sides don't feel really different on the skin, and they don't seem to differ much in their performance
- a small band that can slip over the fingers and help you hold it would be nice for those of us with grip issues
-fluffy texture does seem to be lost with repeated use
Overall impression:
I tried these with liquid makeup remover, micellar water, and balm cleansers to remove oil-free foundation and waterproof eye makeup. While I found that they did a good job, I am not sure i would pick them over the reusable cotton or bamboo rounds. They are certainly more gentle on the eyes, but I think I would prefer a set that came with 7 or 8 of these rounds to really make them more viable for me.

Super soft!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these pads complimentary to test. They are larger than my normal makeup removing pads and have two sides. Love that they're both super soft and you can tell the different sides if you want to use them for different things. Would highly recommend!

Gentle, Effective and Reusable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these so much better than the makeup-removing presoaked pads. These are much softer and gentler on the delicate and sensitive skin around my eyes. They rinse clean very easily. I have not tried running the through the wash -- probably not advisable as they seem to have some kind of foam or sponge inside. These pads are also 2 in one: the white side is for your eyes, the colored side is meant for your face. I use both sides for my eyes, as I find them too small to use on my face without repeated rinsing with every swipe. No more throwing used wipes in the trash!

Love these makeup remover pads!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Makeup Remover Pads a.d I love them! I have been using cotton rounds with my micellar water to remove makeup for a long time! I have always hated that I was being wasteful by using the disposable cotton rounds but nothing else took my makeup off as well....until these makeup remover pads!!! They are amazing!!! They are soft, easily washable and work as well, if not better, than my disposable cotton rounds. I would absolutely recommend these makeup remover pads!

These Makeup Remover pads work!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been loving the Real Techniques Makeup Remover Pads!! The blue eye makeup removing side does such a good job at removing eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara. Adding a makeup remover to the pad or wetting the pad with water and using a makeup removing balm prior to the eye or face before swiping it across helps all eye and face makeup come off like a dream. The blue side is used for eye makeup and the white side removes foundation,concealer, blush, bronzer, highlighter and any other face products without any scrubbing or tugging on the skin. I love these makeup removing pads because I can hand wash them in warm water with a gentle cleanser and air dry them. As someone who prefers reusable makeup removing cloths to the one-time use makeup removing cloths these are perfect for travel and take up minimal space. The Real Techniques brand never disappoints and these makeup removing cloths are awesome! I highly recommend them!!
