With 7% Glycolic Acid, Amino Acids, Aloe Vera, Ginseng and Tasmanian Pepperberry.

Glycolic Acid is an alpha hydroxyl acid that exfoliates the skin. This 7% toning solution offers mild exfoliation for improved skin radiance and visible clarity. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture with continued use.

This formula contains a studied Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative to help reduce irritation associated with acid use. This derivative is of plant origin and varies in colour seasonally and this colour variation may be apparent in the formula from time to time. The formula is further supported with inclusion of ginseng root and aloe vera for both visible radiance and soothing benefits.

This pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic Acid has a pKa of 3.6 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids. pKa implies acid availability. When pKa is close to pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, maximising effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation. Higher pH numbers in such a case would increase salt which counter-intuitively would make the formula even more irritating than if the formula was more acidic.

Alcohol-free, nut-free, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free.

Directions

Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than once per day. After cleaning, saturate a cotton pad with the formula and sweep across face and neck. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Do not rinse off. Continue with additional skin treatments as needed. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.

This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. Use only as directed. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not hating but this is my opinion I saw this product on my tiktok everywhere. And I wanted to try it out. I bought this about 2 months ago and have been using it every night. It makes my skin feel good but after a while I started breaking out a little bit. Not big pimples just small ones. I’m not hating on it. This product works on some face types not all face types.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PLEASE READ!!! So I LOVE The Ordinary products! I use their puffy serum as well as the hair thickening and hyaluronic acid ones. Because of this I decided to get this glycolic acid and well let’s just say…it makes my face very sticky no matter what I do. There is no direction on how to use this besides “use after cleansing” especially for those who use face serum and moisturizer like me!! My face is a neutral skin type. It has its days.. some days are more oily and some days it’s just dry so I always use my ordinary face serum and my hydration cream. •First I cleaned my face, applied my moisturizer, then my serum, then this glycolic acid and it made my face STICKY. •Next day I tried something different. I cleaned my face, applied face serum, then the acid, then the moisturizer and my face was STICKY •Next day I tried cleaning my face, adding the acid, then my serums, then moisturizer and well…it was less sticky than before but still sticky. Idk if it is just my face type or the skin care products I use…but the ones I use are The Ordinary brands so… I’m just saying, before you buy this make sure you know the steps on what to apply first, how to apply it, and if the brands of serum, moisturizer, or whatever you use will mess with the results of this brand. *my face does feel super smooth in the morning after I was my face. It’s just at night when I apply this on is when it gets very sticky

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a miracle product I'm using this product instead of deodorant. it works extremely good, I'm not using deodorant anymore. instead I'm applying this toner even though that's not the intent of this product but trust me, it works amazing in substitution of deodorant ! it also works wonders on the chicken skin on the arms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Noticed some results - waiting for 8-month mark Bought these two (separately) some months ago when I was looking for a serum to apply to my scalp as part of a regimen of laser cap and micro needling. Like that it feels cooling and will see if there's a difference in the density at the 8-month point. I use the toner on my neck and forearm where I have scars from burns. Can say that scars have noticeably faded in 6-months. I haven't tried toner on my face or scalp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING I purchased this product two weeks ago and I have been thoroughly satisfied with the results. Not only has it made my skin incredibly smooth, but it has also improved its overall appearance and texture. I am delighted with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their skincare routine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nauseous I brought this last month. Been using it every night and after a while, I noticed it makes me nauseous. I thought it was something I ate but once I stopped using it the nausea was gone. Tried it again few weeks later, nauseous again. Do not buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Toner Ever! I usually hate using Toners and have avoided them for years after trying many different brands which all made me break out with pimples, made my skin feel like it’s burning or made my skin red and sensitive. I don’t know why I tried this toner but I purchased it randomly one day, and all I can say is that it is the best toner I’ve ever used. I have been using it for a month now, I have not had any pimples, my skin feels firmer, my dehydration lines are disappearing, and it gives a nice slight golden glow to your skin when you apply it. I don’t necessarily need to use a toner everyday but I enjoy using it so much.

Can I use vitamin c on my skin after I use this toner ?

Asked by: Fatima
It's probably best not to. Because both are quite acidic, it may be too much to put both on your skin at the same time. You could perhaps use Vitamin C in AM and only use this toner in the PM. You should only really use this toner once a day.

What is this like for acne / acne prone skin breakouts / acne scars? Any good ??

Asked by: Demi Lee
I used to have incredibly bad acne but luckily it is much milder as I have gotten older. I find this a gentler way to exfoliate my skin without irritating it. I can't say for sure whether it makes a huge difference to my acne (it may or may not) however it has helped the texture and scarring of my teen acne tremendously!

Can I use this product with the lactic acid 10% + ha?

Asked by: Poppy
You can but I recommend you tolerate the lactic acid 10% first before cooperating both into your routine as it can be quite harsh

I would like to use this product alongside the Retinoid. Is that possible? The tinned would be used first right?

Asked by: joanna
Hey there, Using Retinol and Glycolic acid together is a little bit complicated, this is because they can both dry out the skin. Normal/ oily skin types are fine to try this combination, if you’re on the drier or more sensitive side we would advise to start with glycolic acid and give your skin time to adjust. If you’re doing great with that and have no irritation, then you can add in retinol. Hope this helps! For further information on products please contact us on beautyexperts@feelunique.com. Can you use the buffet with this and if so, should it be before or after this toner?

Asked by: Michelle
Hey there, You can use this toner with The Buffet however you would use the toner first then apply The Buffet. This is because the toner has exfoliating properties which means your serum would be removed if applied first before toning. Hope this helps! Many thanks Katie, Beauty Expert.
