Rated 1 out of 5 by from A seriously substandard new formula Been a happy customer for many years. Just started a new bottle of this and thought I'd accidentally bought the wrong stuff. It's very sticky and not at all moisturising. The previous formula was fantastic, deeply moisturising and not heavy on the skin - why would you change it to this and not say? I do NOT want to put this on my skin. So I inadvertantly bought two bottles of the new formula and that's a whole lot of wasted money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please Go Back to Old Formula I am with all the other 1 star reviewers. I have been using this super serum elixir for years and would notice a huge difference if I ran out. Now it's almost like nothing on my skin. It literally used to glow when using it regularly and now I am not sure what it does. Please, please bring the old formula back!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The new formula is AWFUL!! I was a loyal user of the original Elemis Super Serum for over 10 years. It was by far the best serum on the market and I recommended it to everyone. It had a lovely golden consistency and left my age 45+ skin plump and glowing. There was nothing more reviving after a stressful day than using this serum… Then, yesterday, I opened my new bottle of this product. What a disappointment! I realised something was wrong when the formula coming out of the bottle was white. It spread like a diluted toothpaste and did not seem to moisturise at all. You will not get a glow with this product. It is honestly awful and I feel Elemis did not highlight that the formula had totally changed. Elemis, please listen to your loyal customers and bring the old version back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changed Recipie Used to love thus serum I actually made a difference to the texture of my skin. Now it's not even a serum, just seems like the marine cream. Definitely not improved. Probably cheaper to make.

It used to give a healthy glow to my skin but the new formula feels like a standard moisturiser and does nothing. Elemis, please listen to your customers & return to the original formula.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsatisfactory New Formula I have been buying this for many years with superb results. I have noticed the difference whenever I stopped using it and quickly returned for its restorative properties. It used to need to be shaken so that it blended. It then spread over the skin in a thin veil which stayed on the surface for a few moments. It had a lovely texture and the effect was immediate. Now the formula has been changed to a white cream which does not spread well and has very little effect. It sinks into the skin too quickly and much more is needed for even coverage. It makes no obvious difference to my skin. This is not at all a good buy now and I will not be purchasing it again. I would be delighted if you would return to the old formula. It looks as if many others would be too.
