first non-trial size shampoo bar for me, i will be buying again. this was just lovely. the scent was not overpowering. not sure if it quite lasted 80 uses, maybe more like 70 - but i have very long hair.

Amazing lather!
I was a bit hesitant to try out a shampoo bar, but after using this once I was sold! A little bit really does go a long way with this bar. Not only does it lather really nicely, It also leaves my hair feeling extremely clean and smooth!

Great bar, but not color safe
This bar has been amazing for smoothing my hair and keeping it shiny. I use it in combination with The Guardian conditioner bar and this combo has left my hair just as soft as nice as the sulfate-free liquid products I was using before Ethique. The smell isn't overwhelming - it took me a little while to even try this bar because I don't like coconut, but I haven't minded using it at all as the scent is quite mild.However, this bar is not color safe. I've been using it for a few months now, and have gone from re-coloring my hair every 6 to 8 weeks, to needing to redo it due to severe fading after 3 weeks. If it weren't for this, I would absolutely continue using this bar, and would give it 5 stars, but I can't keep this up.

Outstanding!

The little bar that beats out all the rest!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine hair that likes to hold onto dirt and grime, and I travel a lot. When I started looking for a shampoo bar to replace my conventionally packaged shampoo, all of the claims made about what this bar can do sounded almost too good to be true. I was very pleasantly surprised when my hair responded positively to it. Now, I swear by it and regret whenever I try something else. I work as a field biologist and this bar always does the trick.
