Not Satisfied with This Purchase
The container this candle comes in is beautifully decorated; better looking than the picture, and you will want to keep it to use after the candle has burned down. The scent is nice, but it is too light and too delicate to smell. I have to get very close to the candle and sniff it long and hard to smell anything. And after leaving it burning, there is no scent in the room, and this is a very small room. I don't know if they did not put enough scent in this candle or the scent itself is too light to be made into a candle. If I'd known in advance that this was the case, I would have purchased another one of Jo Malone's candles as all of their candles are of good quality. The main reason I am not returning this candle is because the container is so beautiful. It will make a lovely gift--if I put something else in it--or to keep and use for myself. I wish I could make a nice review as I've tried the sample size of the Pomegranate Noir candle and that was absolutely wonderful--lovely scent, clean burning, good quality. And while this candle is clean burning and good quality, the scent is just not there. A disappointment for me.

Gorgeous scent, disappointing quality
To start, the scent--like many JM products--is amazing. Whenever guests come over and I have the candle lit, I receive so many compliments. The glass is beautifully decorated as well. I am disappointed, however, by the lack of quality control. This was the first JM candle I bought (so I'm not sure if my case is the exception), but the wick was noticeably off-center when I first opened it. I love candles, so I buy them frequently, and I've never seen one where the wick is not centered. Hoping that it wasn't a big deal, I lit the candle, and I'm now noticing (after 2 uses) there is severe tunneling--the heat does not reach the edges, and the fact that the wick is off center makes it worse every time I light it.

Very disappointing.
I am very disappointed with this candle. The fragrance is very weak and does not compare with the quality of the other Jo Malone candles I have had in the past.

A Worthy Cause
If the your main reason for buying this candle is to support a worthy cause than it's a great buy! Lovely jar which will be reused for tea lights. You can definitely smell the lilac...but sadly I can't pick out the rhubarb. I live in Yorkshire, on the edge of 'The Rhubarb Triangle'. We hold Annual Rhubarb Festival.....so you can see why I was a little disappointed! :-)

Gorgeous scent, beautiful design, and so pleased that JM has donated to such a worthy charity. Slightly disappointed that there is no mention of this though in the packaging or on the candle.

Beautiful Scent, Beautiful Cause!
So lovely that I went back and bought a second one for my Mum. I think it's fantastic that such a well known brand is so supportive of mental health charities, the percentage donated from each purchase is outstanding. Well done, Jo Malone xx
