Love, love, love !!

Burns like you put pepper around your eyes
I purchased this cream as part of the CH kit with high expectations, only to be sorely disappointed. Despite having used similar products like SR in the past and maintaining a good skincare routine, this cream proved to be an entirely different experience. Within a minute of application, the burning sensation was so intense that it felt like I had accidentally rubbed raw peppers onto my eye. Not only did it cause inflammation and redness around my eye and the adjacent area of my cheek, but it was also excruciatingly painful. Despite rinsing it off immediately with cool water and applying an ice compress, the discomfort persisted. Reluctantly, I attempted to use it again, this time layering it over a plain moisturizer devoid of any acids or additives, yet the result was the same – an unbearable burning sensation akin to fire ants. This product is not just disappointing; it poses a significant risk to one's skin health and safety.

5 Stars! The eyes have it!
my dermatologist recommended that I take niacinamide a few years ago. When I saw that the 5-Start Eye Serum included niacinamide and knowing that my fine lines are making a new home around my eyes, I thought... why not? this is an excellent eye cream - a little bit goes a long way. Soothing, no irritation and positive results (fine line reduction)

Please research stuff before using it
People seem to just use stuff and blame the product for not being informed lol this is retinol and SR uses a high quality type that’s what makes their products so loved. This one is made for the eyes but it’s still retinol and eye skin is thinner and more delicate so you have to gently work your way up to it. Use it once or twice a week and work your way up over time if you have sensitivity to it and as with anything patch test before use! I’ve had such amazing results from this it really helped my dark circles and thin skin. If you use too much it’ll dry you out and make the eyes look worse bc of that so find a good balance. I do 3-4 nights a week after using it over a year but I also take a week break every other month and just do toner serum lotion and have great results.

Too strong!
After a couple of days of use, my eyes burned and the skin became red, inflamed, itchy and extremely uncomfortable to the point that I can’t use any eye make-up. I threw the tube in the garbage and have been using aquaphor (recommended by my dermatologist) to help the skin heal. I have never experienced this type of reaction to a product before, but I think the chemicals in the serum are too strong for some people.

Dry flaky skin after two nights of use
I LOVE Sunday Riley products and use the CEO serum, A++, Luna oil and Good Genes. I wanted to love this product, but it causes redness, tenderness, and dry flaky skin around my eyes. I use it once a week now and that seems fine, but I have to alternate with something else. NOT for sensitive skin apparently

This is my second full-sized tube after getting this in one of the bundles. I use it at night, and the cooling and soothing qualities feel so great right before bed. I wake up looking like I've slept!!

Very Effective
I love this product! It works great on my dark circles/bags. I find it to be moisturizing but I do use it with a moisturizer and an HA.
