Surface hydration formula, Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) are elements that keep the outer layer of the skin protected and well-hydrated. NMF are made up of multiple amino acids, fatty acids, triglycerides, urea, ceramides, phospholipids, glycerin, saccharides, sodium PCA, hyaluronic acid and many other compounds that are naturally present in the skin.

This formula offers non-greasy hydration that acts as a direct topical supplement of impaired NMF components. It contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid. It offers immediate hydration and lasting results with continued use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nourishing and moisture rich I have dry skin and being 34 it’s showing general signs of aging. I’ve been using this for about a week in conjunction with the squalane cleanser, argireline and matrixyl serums and my skin is already looking and feeling better. It gives my skin a dewy appearance and my makeup looks so much nicer with these products underneath. I have occasionally just applied the moisturiser without serums and the effect is the same. Feels very nourishing and hydrating

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite I've been using this for a little less than a year and I freaking LOVE it. I hope it never changes. It's a simple and effective moisturizer and feels great on my skin. I have acne-prone skin and this has never caused any issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from yall cannot even read USE YOUR EYES This moisturizer works like a chef's kiss, if you read the description properly, it's supposed NOT to feel greasy/sticky like other moisturizers but still hydrates your skin w/o the sticky feeling. That's why it may feel 'weird' on your face after but my skin has improved a lot from this since I have dry skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely locks in the moisture This product was recommended to me after taking the quiz on the website. I'm also 50. I use an oil, serum and this lotion in that order. It has a slightly oily consistency which I like because I live in the North and my face keeps getting drier and drier. I haven't noticed any white tint after application, no beading up, but I also haven't noticed any special aging reversals happening to my face either. I only notice smaller pores. I still have wrinkles around my eyes, but I'm also losing weight (on purpose) and that could be contributing to my wrinkles. I really like the consistency of this lotion, but I'm not sure if it's working.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no. i got this as someone with acne prone skin and i used it twice and it caused me to have little spots all around my face where i never get breakouts and it clogged all my pores so i stopped using it and after around two weeks it went away. i’m sure it would be a good product for someone without acne prone skin though

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight basic face lotion Good texture, moisturizing enough, doesn't clog pores, absorbs well. Can't say I noticed any skin improvements but for this price and being fragrance free, it's a great deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and good I love that this moisturizer isn’t too thick and it mixes easily into my cream foundation

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The is by for the worst moisturizer This is not for dry skin. It is for oily skin. This moisturizer literally takes all the moisture out of my skin. Leave my skin feeling dry and tight. It’s far from hydrating. Do not recommend.

I am still breastfeeding and I want to enhance my daily routine for reducing the fine lines around my eyes and the faded skin around my cheeks. What can I use in conjunction with this moisturizer?

Hi, I would like to ask how often should use this cream? What order should I follow to use it with Lactic acid 10%, Niacinamine 10%+ Zn, Retinoid 2% and AHA 30% +BHA 2% peeling? Thanks.

Asked by: Marta
Hi, It's recommended to apply The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA after serums, it is for effective surface hydration, which is the last skincare step.
